Samuel Amadon is the author of Like a Sea, published by the University of Iowa Press in 2010. His work has appeared in American Poetry Review, Boston Review, Tin House, Verse, and elsewhere. A Ph.D. candidate in creative writing and literature at the University of Houston, he is also a poetry editor of Gulf Coast and runs the chapbook press, Projective Industries. He received his M.F.A. from Columbia University and is originally from Hartford, Connecticut. He joined WITS in 2009.
