The Writers in the Schools (WITS) board of directors will be hosting "A WITS Gathering" Thursday, June 21st from 6-8pm at Hearsay Gastro Lounge (218 Travis street).   

Come and enjoy an open mic night with WITS Writers and learn more about what WITS is doing and how you can support creativity in the classroom. Representatives from the WITS Alliance will be in attendance, and you can hear more about this national movement to provide children with the tools to be creative thinkers and writers.

Bring your friends! 10% of the food and beverage proceeds will come back to WITS to allow us to reach more underserved children with the pleasure and power of reading and writing.
