About the event

Free Verse is a free workshop and monthly open mic series for youth ages 13-19. Each month, young poets, spoken word artists, singers and emcees perform their original work. Each open mic includes a short workshop or lesson from META4 Houston coaches. Free Verse open mics are a great place to learn more about slams.
